Experience:

Mr. Mayer leads the analysis and execution team and is responsible for origination in the UK and countries other than Germany, Austria, Benelux and Italy. Mr Mayer has more than 15 years of experience in making bespoke investments in a wide variety of businesses, investing both equity and debt, and works closely with his team to create flexible finance structures.

Before joining the DAM Capital group, Mr. Mayer was Senior Director in Special Investments Group of The Royal Bank of Scotland plc. Previously, he was an Investment Manager with HSBC Private Equity (now Montagu Private Equity) and KPMG Corporate Finance LLP and began his career within the Banking & Capital Markets Group at KPMG Audit plc.

Mr. Mayer is English and received a BSc Honours from the University of Nottingham. He is a qualified accountant and corporate treasurer, and holds certificates in corporate finance, securities and investment management from the Securities Institute.
