Experience:
Mr. Wardrop, a native of Canada, co-founded DAM Capital on behalf of the Anschutz Corporation in 2003. Mr. Wardrop's previous experience in establishing, running and investing in small to mid sized companies gives him significant insight into the logistics and funding needs of such companies.
Previously, Mr. Wardrop was Managing Director of Anschutz Investments Limited and Anschutz Investments BV, overseeing investments throughout Europe. From 1991 to 2000, Mr. Wardrop was Managing Director of Mediatek Communications in Brussels and Paris, leading business development and project finance assignments on behalf of European companies engaged in satellite-related projects. Prior to that, he was the CEO and founder of Digital Media Networks, a venture capital funded Canadian company that provided satellite data services to retailers and banks across the United States and Canada. Mr. Wardrop began his career in 1979 with Proctor & Gamble in brand management.
Mr. Wardrop earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree (with Honors) from Queen's University in Canada, and his MBA (with distinction) from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago.
